Mountain Dew Pork Loin

  1. Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish.
  2. Cover.
  3. Bake at 300 for approximately 1 hour or until pork reaches desired doneness.
  4. Strain braising liquid.
  5. Do not discard.
  6. Whisk cornstarch and cold water.
  7. Pour cornstarch slurry into braising liquid while whisking to avoid clumps.
  8. Bring to a boil to activate cornstarch.
  9. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.
