Ennobled Strawberries
- 12 liter strawberry
- 50 g almonds
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 leaves fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 12 tablespoon wine vinegar
- sugar
- salt
- Rinse and halve strawberries and divide them between serving bowls.
- Finely grind almonds and garlic with a hand held blender.
- Chop basil.
- Add chopped basil, water, oil, wine vinegar and dashes of sugar and salt to ground almonds & garlic, mix well.
- Pour sauce over strawberries just before serving.
- Serve with crusty bread as an appetizer.
