Cream of Cheese Soup

  1. Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook and stir onions and celery in butter until onions are tender, about 8 minutes.
  3. Stir in water, half-and-half, cheese spread, instant bouillon and nutmeg.
  4. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly; stir in wine.
  5. Heat to boiling.
  6. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  7. Sprinkle each serving with paprika and garnish with croutons.
