San Joaquin Sangria
- 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine, full-bodied dry
- 2 cups grapes, red, seedless
- 1 orange, cut into 1/4 (6 mm)
- 1 nectarines or 1 peach, cut into thin wedges
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup soda water (optional)
- 8 small clusters green grapes
- Combine all ingredients except soda water and grape clusters in a pitcher.
- Stir well.
- Refrigerate for 2-24 hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Add soda water, if desired, and serve with or without the fruit pieces, in glasses garnished with the small clusters of grapes.
