Cardamom Tea
- 2 teaspoons loose darjeeling tea
- 14 teaspoon cardamom seed
- 1 12 cups water
- milk (optional)
- sugar (optional)
- Place the tea in a teapot.
- Combine the cardamom seeds and the water in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour this water into the teapot and let the tea steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your taste.
- Strain into 2 cups and add milk or sugar, if desired.
