Candy Bar Squares Recipe
- 1 c. (8 ounce) Parkay Soft Margarine
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp each baking soda and salt
- 6 x chocolate covered candy bars (about 1-3/4 ounce each), minced
- Heat oven to 350'F.
- Beat margarine and sugars in large bowl with mixer on medium speed till light and fluffy.
- Blend in Large eggs.
- Fold in flour, baking soda and salt.
- Reserve 1/2 c. minced candy for topping.
- Stir remaining candy into flour mix.
- Spread into 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle with reserved 1/2 c. candy.
- Bake 25 to 30 min or possibly till lightly browned.
- Cold in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into squares.
- Makes 2 dozen.
