A.1. Beef Stroganoff

  1. Cook and stir onion in 1 1/2 tablespoon of the oil in large skillet on medium-high heat for 3 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms; cook and stir just until tender.
  3. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  4. Heat remaining 1 1/2 tablespoon oil in same skillet.
  5. Add meat, in batches, to skillet; cook and stir until meat is cooked through.
  6. Return all meat to skillet.
  7. Stir in onion mixture and steak sauce; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Stir in sour cream.
  10. Serve over noodles.
  11. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
