Jims Rib Stickin Chili
- 2 14 lbs hamburger, Lean
- 14 cup bacon bits
- 36 ounces v 8 juice
- 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 cup hot water
- 29 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 15 ounces chili beans, mild sauce
- 1 12 cups onions, chopped
- 14 cup green pepper, chopped
- 14 cup red pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 (15 ounce) canspetite diced tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 18 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 12 teaspoon brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon dried oregano
- 12 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 12 teaspoons ground cumin
- 14 cup chili powder
- Brown and drain hamburger and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil and saute onions, green pepper and red peppers for 5 minutes, stir frequently.
- Reduce heat to low (simmer) and add V8, bouillon, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and bacon bits.
- Stir.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Stir and cover.
- Simmer for 3 hours.
- Stir occasionally.
