Tuna Salad for Mayo Haters
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tuna
- 14 cup onion (green, white or red)
- 14 cup green olives
- 12 cup chickpeas (optional)
- 12 cup beans (optional)
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 dash hot chili sauce
- mix all ingredients in a bowl, you can leave out the canned beans and chick peas if you like, but I like to keep them in because its filling, adds texture and protein.
- When adding the olives, pour a bit of the brine in too, i do this with the canned tuna as well.
- try adding other flavors and veg, there are endless combinations to enjoy tuna salad.
