Blackberry Dream Recipe
- 1 pt Premium quality vanilla ice Cream (such as Haagen-Dazs Or possibly Frusen Gladje)
- 2 c. Water
- 2 pkt (4oz ea) Blackberry Flavored gelatin
- 2 pkt (10 ounce ea) frzn Blackberries in syrup For garnish: fresh Blackberries, softly whipped Cream & mint sprig
- Chill vanilla ice cream 30-40 min to soften.
- Have an 8-10 c. bundt pan or possibly ring mold ready.
- Bring water to a boil in 3 qt saucepan.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in gelatin with rubber spatula till dissolved.
- Add in Blackberries & stir till thawed & blended.
- If gelatin starts to set while Blackberries are thawing, heat gently till it liquefies.
- Stir in softened ice cream.
- Pour into bundt pan.
- Chill at least 8 hrs till hard.
- To unmold, dip pan up to rim in hot, not warm, water.
- Invert serving plate over pan.
- Shake pan gently from side to side to release dessert.
- Garnish with berries, cream & mint.
