BBQ Shrimp and Bacon Appetizer
- 20 shrimp (raw, shelled and deviened, tails may be left on)
- 20 bacon, strips (length to wrap shrimp twice)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 bamboo skewers
- 1 (8 ounce) bottle poppy seed dressing
- Put shrimp and bacon into bowl with bbq sauce, seal and allow to matinate in fridg for 12 hours or overnight.
- Prepare skewers by soaking in water (we wet them and wrap in celo to be left in the fridg overnight).
- When ready, wrap each shirmp with 1 strip of bacon and put on skewer leaving 1//4" space between each.
- Place skewers on broiling pan and broil for 3 minute on each side or until bacon is crisp.
- Remove shrimp from skewers, w/fork, onto platter and use dressing for dipping sauce.
