Barbecued Beef Brisket

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix first 4 ingredients in large roasting pan.
  3. Add meat to pan; top with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce.
  4. Cover with foil; pierce foil in several places with sharp knife or fork to vent.
  5. Bake 3 hours or until meat is done (160F).
  6. Let stand, covered, 10 min.
  7. before slicing.
  8. Strain onions, garlic and jalapeno from pan; place in large skillet.
  9. Add 1/2 cup of the remaining barbecue sauce; cook 3 to 4 min.
  10. or until sauce is heated through.
  11. Serve meat topped with onion mixture.
  12. Serve with remaining barbecue sauce.
