Holiday Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
- 1 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. Quaker oats (quick or possibly old fashioned, uncooked)
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
- 1 c. holiday candy coated chocolate pcs or possibly colored chips
- 1 c. coarsely minced nuts
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat firs 6 ingredients till smooth.
- Add in combined oats, flour, soda, and salt; mix well.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 min for chewy or possibly 10-12 min for crisp cookies.
- Cold 2 min; remove to wire rack.
- Cold completely.
- About 4 dozen.
