Cannoli Shells And Filling Recipe

  1. Sift flour, salt and baking pwdr.
  2. Cut in butter; knead well.
  3. On floured board, roll dough to 1/16-inch thick.
  4. Cut into 4-inch squares.
  5. With rolling pin, roll squares into ovals.
  6. Wrap each oval around Cannoli tube.
  7. Seal edge with egg white.
  8. Fry 2 at a time in 350 degrees oil for 1 to 2 min.
  9. Hold tubes with chop sticks to drain.
  10. Cold for 5 min.
  11. Careful- ly remove tubes.
  12. Makes 12 shells.
  13. Filling: In blender, combine cheese, cream, sugar and vanilla.
  14. Mix in chocolate chips.
  15. Fill Cannoli shells.
  16. Dust with powdered sugar.
  17. Garnish with chocolate syrup.
  18. Fill 12 shells.
