Cheese stuffed shells
- 6 uncooked jumbo shell pasta (1/2 of a box)
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 can 15 ounces - tomato sauce
- 1 can 5 ounces - tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain and rinse in cool water.
- Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Spray 8x8" pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Ladle about 1/2 cup sauce into bottom of pan.
- In medium bowl, stir together cheese filling ingredients.
- Spoon some into each shell and place in prepared pan.
- Spoon remaining sauce over filled pasta.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and bake 30 minutes or until bubbly.
