Vermicelli Upma

  1. Roast vermicelli till golden brown and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in wok,add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,asafoetida,green chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Add chopped carrots and green peas and saute till tender.
  4. Add 3 1/2 bowls of water and let it boil.
  5. Add roasted vermicelli and stir.
  6. Add salt and pinch of sugar (optional).
  7. Cover and let it cook.
  8. Serve with finely chopped coriander leaves and freshly grated coconut.
