Grandma Smith's Pecan Pie Recipe
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup, preferably light Karo
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 plain pastry pie crust
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat Large eggs.
- Add in sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.
- Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry crust.
- Arrange pecans in a layer on top of crust.
- Add in egg mix.
- Bake 50-60 min till golden.
- Nuts will rise to the top to create a crusted layer.
- 6-8 servings.
