Decadence Noire

  1. Preheat the oven at 150C.
  2. Butter very good a 3lt cake pan.
  3. Dust the pan with cacao powder.
  4. Remove any extra cacao powder.
  5. Sift the flour, the baking powder and the salt.
  6. Melt the chocolate with the butter, mixing.
  7. Remove from heat and add the rum, the coffee and the sugar mixing well.
  8. Using an electric mixer add slowly the flour and then the eggs and then the vanilla.
  9. Pour the mixture in the cake pan and bake for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
