Great for Bentos too! Vegetable and Pork Rolls Marinated in Nanban Sauce

  1. Finely chop the carrots, and cut the green beans in half.
  2. Mix together in a bowl to prepare the marinade.
  3. Thinly slice the onions.
  4. Heat a little vegetable oil (not listed), add in the onions, saute, and marinate in the sauce.
  5. Wrap the vegetables in the thinly sliced meat.
  6. Lightly coat with katakuriko after rolling.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, line up the rolls from step 5 with the overlap facing down, and cook until golden brown over low medium heat while rolling them around.
  8. After cooking the rolls, toss in the marinade from step 2 while still hot, and lightly mix together.
  9. Let them marinate for a while...
  10. Done!
