Super Quick Kimchi & Tofu Simmer in the Microwave
- 100 grams Firm tofu
- 15 grams Thinly sliced pork belly (or scraps)
- 50 grams plus (to taste) Napa cabbage kimchi
- 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 Green onions (optional)
- Place the tofu on a heat-resistant dish (preferably a deep dish) and cut into 6 pieces.
- Of course you don't need to cut it at all.
- Top with kimchi.
- Cut the pork into easy to eat pieces and place on top of the kimchi.
- Lightly cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for 3 minutes.
- Since the meat doesn't cook completely through very easily, turn the meat over after about 2 minutes.
- Once the pork has cooked through, pour in the sesame oil, soy sauce, and optionally garnish with green onion to finish.
