Broiled Todok (Todok Kui) Recipe

  1. After soaking and peeling the todok (Codonopsis Lanceolata), remove the bitterness by soaking the them in salted water; then pat them dry.
  2. Slice the todok thinly and lb.
  3. it flat with a mallet.
  4. Mix the red pepper paste with the soy sauce, green onion, garlic, sesame salt and sesame oil.
  5. Simmer the mix till thickened.
  6. Broil the todok on a grill and baste it with the seasoned red pepper paste.
