Apple Raisin Bread

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients; gradually add to the sugar mixture.
  3. Fold in the apples, raisins and walnuts.
  4. Pour into two greased and floured 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pans.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
  7. Makes 2 loaves.
