Chewy Even When Cold! Tofu Donuts

  1. Put the tofu in a bowl and mash.
  2. You don't need to strain it!
  3. Add the pancake mix and mix it up well!
  4. Using two spoons, prepare meatball-sized balls.
  5. Fry them up until crispy!
  6. If you make them small, they won't be half-done inside.
  7. If you don't think they're not quite sweet enough as they are, you can coat them in sugar or maple syrup.
  8. VariationL Sugar, cocoa, light brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, maple syrup, sesame, or chocolate.
  9. Variation: Maple sugar, black sugar syrup, kinako, white sesame seeds & white chocolate powder, brown sugar, kinako, matcha kinako.
  10. Variation 3: Brown sugar, banana, matcha, cocoa & cinnamon sugar, brown sugar & cinnamon topped with heavy cream.
  11. Variation 4: Coffee & cocoa, honey with chocolate bar & kuromame, kinako, anko bean paste donuts, black sugar syrup, kinako, pie crust treats.
  12. Variation 5: 2 bananas + 50 g of tofu, waffles, or loose green tea leaves.
  13. To make them look like the donuts shown in the picture above, shape the balls with two spoons.
  14. Or, roll them into balls with moistened hands.
