Boston Cream Cheesecake Recipe
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 (1 ounce.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Grease bottom of 9 inch springform pan.
- Prepare cake mix to package direction.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer.
- Add in Large eggs one at a time.
- Blend in lowfat sour cream, pour over cake layer.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- Loosen cake from rim.
- Cold before removing rim.
- Bring water to boil, remove from heat.
- Heat chocolate with butter over low heat till smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in water and remaining ingredients, mix well.
- Spread over cheesecake.
- Refrigerateseveral hrs.
- Garnish with strawberries or possibly cherries if you like.
