Tina's Beef Stroganoff Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound sirloin or possibly tenderloin, trimmed, cut in 1 x 1/4 inch strips
- 3/4 c. diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. beef stock
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- Brown lightly in butter, onion, garlic and mushrooms.
- Add in beef, brown.
- Add in beef stock and dash of pepper.
- Fold in sauce ingredients.
- Cover and simmer 1 - 1 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Before serving, stir in lowfat sour cream.
- Serve over noodles or possibly rice.
- Serves 4.
