Charred Tomato Salsa

  1. Place tomato slices in single layer on bottom of half-sheet pan.
  2. Broil until lightly charred.
  3. Remove skins; discard.
  4. Place tomatoes in blender.
  5. Add syrup and hot sauce; blend until smooth.
  6. Transfer to bowl; cool.
  7. Stir in cilantro, salt and oregano.
