Charred Tomato Salsa
- 4 each beefsteak tomatoes, cut into 1-inch-thick slices King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup light agave syrup
- 1/4 cup TAPATIO Hot Sauce
- 1-1/3 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried Mexican oregano
- Place tomato slices in single layer on bottom of half-sheet pan.
- Broil until lightly charred.
- Remove skins; discard.
- Place tomatoes in blender.
- Add syrup and hot sauce; blend until smooth.
- Transfer to bowl; cool.
- Stir in cilantro, salt and oregano.
