A Plus Brownies Recipe

  1. To make base: In large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat till creamy.
  2. Add in Large eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well.
  3. In small micro proof bowl, heat 1 and 1/4 c. of the mini chocolate chips till smooth.
  4. Add in melted chocolate and flour to first mix.
  5. Pour into well greased 9 x 9 inch square pan.
  6. Set aside.
  7. To make topping: In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and butter; beat till creamy.
  8. Add in Large eggs, lowfat milk, flour and almond extract; beat well.
  9. Stir in remaining 3/4 c. of mini chocolate chips.
  10. Pour over brownie base.
  11. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 min.
  12. Cold completely and cut into small pcs these are very rich, and taste best if chilled.
  13. Store in refrigerator.
  14. Makes 16 to 24 brownies.
