One-Pot Penne Pasta

  1. Cook bacon in large deep skillet until crisp; remove from skillet.
  2. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Discard drippings from skillet.
  4. Add ground beef, mushrooms, onions and garlic to skillet; cook until meat is browned, stirring occasionally.
  5. Crumble bacon.
  6. Add half the bacon to meat mixture in skillet with the tomatoes, pasta sauce and water; mix well.
  7. Cover; bring to boil.
  8. Stir in pasta; simmer, covered, on medium-low heat 20 min.
  9. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  10. Remove from heat.
  11. Top with cheese and remaining bacon.
  12. Let stand, covered, 5 min.
  13. or until cheese is melted.
  14. Sprinkle with parsley.
