Casseroled Steak with Vegetables

  1. Heat large oven safe skillet with oil on medium high.
  2. Dredge steak in flour and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown on both sides.
  4. Drain excess grease.
  5. To skillet, add onion, green pepper, and water.
  6. Cover and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees F.
  7. Add potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cream of mushroom soup, and more water (if needed; add if dish looks dry).
  8. Return to oven for 1 to 2 hours more.
  9. Remove from oven.
  10. Let cool about 510 minutes before serving.
