Teriyaki Mayonnaise Natto Pasta for Lunch at Home

  1. Bring a decent amount of water to a boil and cook the spaghetti.
  2. (Cook 1 minute shorter than the instructed time on the package.)
  3. Add all the ingredients into a serving dish and mix it up.
  4. Mix the natto with its accompanying sauce.
  5. When the spaghetti is done, drain it in a colander.
  6. Transfer into the serving dish from Step 2 and mix everything up lightly.
  7. Here's the fun part: put the natto from Step 3 in the middle and make a dent for the egg.
  8. Wow, the egg settled there quite nicely.
  9. Crack the egg into the dent.
  10. I usually use a whole egg, but just the yolk could work as well.
  11. Top with as much mayonnaise as you'd like!
  12. Scatter some shredded nori seaweed and enjoy.
