Teriyaki Mayonnaise Natto Pasta for Lunch at Home
- 100 grams Pasta
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 pack Natto
- 1 as much (to taste) Mayonnaise
- 1 Egg
- 1 Shredded nori seaweed
- Bring a decent amount of water to a boil and cook the spaghetti.
- (Cook 1 minute shorter than the instructed time on the package.)
- Add all the ingredients into a serving dish and mix it up.
- Mix the natto with its accompanying sauce.
- When the spaghetti is done, drain it in a colander.
- Transfer into the serving dish from Step 2 and mix everything up lightly.
- Here's the fun part: put the natto from Step 3 in the middle and make a dent for the egg.
- Wow, the egg settled there quite nicely.
- Crack the egg into the dent.
- I usually use a whole egg, but just the yolk could work as well.
- Top with as much mayonnaise as you'd like!
- Scatter some shredded nori seaweed and enjoy.
