Not so Sweet! Homemade Marshmallows

  1. Put the gelatin and water marked in a mug or container to soften the gelatin.
  2. Whip the egg white and sugar to make a hard meringue.
  3. Microwave the mug at 900W for about 30-40 seconds until the gelatin dissolves completely.
  4. Add to the meringue and whip well.
  5. Pour into a container and let it cool down to harden.
  6. Then it's done!
  7. You can take the marshmallow out easily.
  8. Flip the container over, and cut the marshmallow into small squares.
  9. Dust with your favorite powder and serve.
  10. I poured the mixture at Step 2 into heart shaped silicone molds, and froze them.
  11. You can freeze them just like in.
  12. This is another variation.
  13. I dropped the mixture from a spoon and topped with walnut, my favorite.
  14. Let them cool down until they set!
  15. I piped the mixture like fresh cream, then let them cool to set.
