- 1 cup rolled oats
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup flour (General purpose is ok.)
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup margarine (Smart Balance is the best if you can get it in your area. Terrific taste and extremely healthy!)
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Add margarine.
- Blend well with a fork.
- Combine apples, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Spread across the bottom of an appropriately sized baking dish.
- Spread dry ingredients and butter mixture over the apples.
- Press it down a bit.
