Sweet and Spicy Braised Pork Belly with Daikon Radish

  1. Cut the pork belly into bite size pieces and fry in a pan.
  2. Cut the daikon into about the same thickness (about 1.5 cm) quarter rounds as the pork and fry together with pork.
  3. Fry until the daikon is browned (nice and crispy).
  4. Grate the ginger and combine with other sauce ingredients (Do not use too much red chili.
  5. It might be too spicy.)
  6. Pour over the combined the Step 4 sauce ingredients into the pan.
  7. Cook for a while until the daikon is tender (add water if necessary).
  8. When the daikon is tender, it is done.
  9. Very nice with rice!
  10. Boil eggs together with it and it will be good!
