French toast recipe

  1. Spread two of the slices of bread with a thick gooey layer of chocolate spread of pile on the chocolate buttons.
  2. Top with a layer of bananas and then close the deal with the remaining bread.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl with the sugar, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  4. Place the sandwiches in the sunny egg mixture and let them soak it up for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Melt the butter in a pan over a medium to low heat, then fry the sandwiches on both sides until they are golden and puffy.
  6. Serve with a scattering of pistachio nuts and a dusting of icing sugar if you absolutely must.
  7. Eat at once.
