Hard Candy
- 2 cups sugar
- 23 cup light Karo syrup (corn)
- 34 cup water
- 1 teaspoon flavoring, Lorann Flavor
- powdered sugar
- food coloring
- Mix sugar, syrup and water over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar discolves.
- Boil without stirring until 310 degrees.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in Flarvor and color.
- Pour on lightly greased cookie sheets.
- Cool (5 hours or overnight) and break.
- Optional: Sprinkle powdered sugar on harden candy to minimize stickiness.
