Grilled New Potatoes
- 24 small new potatoes (about 2 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
- Light the grill or heat the oven to 375.
- Put the potatoes in a large saucepan of salted water.
- Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain and toss with the oil, salt and pepper.
- Grill the potatoes, turning occasionally, until tender, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Alternatively, put them in a roasting pan and bake, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 15 minutes.
