Lasagna

  1. In saucepan, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer for 1 hour. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Combine the egg, cottage cheese and 1 teaspoon of salt; mix well. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
  4. Layer 1/2 the noodles, 1/2 the meat sauce, 1/2 the cottage cheese, 1/2 the Mozzarella and 1/2 the Parmesan.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
