Jam Thumbprints

  1. In a large bowl, cream the butter and Splenda until fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla; stir in the flour.
  3. Form dough into a ball and wrap in plastic.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes, at least.
  5. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Shape into 1" balls and place on parchment paper.
  7. Make a small indention and bake until golden.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Place 1/2 teaspoons jam into the indentions.
