- 16 ounces, weight Pasta (spirals And Ridges Hold More Sauce)
- 1/2 sticks Butter (salted)
- 1 pound Shrimps, Peeled, Tails Removed, And Deveined
- 1 carton Mushrooms, Sliced, 6 Ounce Carton
- 1/2 cups White Cooking Wine
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground White Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 6 ounces, weight Parmesan Cheese, Finely Grated
- Begin by putting a pot of water on to boil for the pasta.
- Once the water boils, adds pasta and cook until al dente (or however you like your pasta) according to package instructions.
- Then drain it in a collander and return it to the pot.
- While your pasta is cooking, place the butter, shrimp, mushrooms, white wine, salt, pepper and garlic powder into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- The skillet will need to be big enough to hold 3 cups of heavy whipping cream along with all of your other goodies.
- Cook this over medium-high heat until the butter and white wine have reduced down and thickened up.
- Now, add in your 3 cups of heavy whipping cream.
- Bring the heavy whipping cream to a boil and then add in the 6 ounces of finely grated parmesan.
- Reduce heat to medium and let the mixture cook for about one minute longer, to allow the cheese to melt and the sauce to thicken.
- Now, you can either serve the noodles and sauce separately or combine them in the pot that you cooked the pasta in and serve that way.
- * You can also substitute bacon and chicken for the shrimp and mushrooms.
- The possibilities are endless.
- Play with it and find a combination you love!
- ** Dont let the butter and cream scare you away!
