Chicken Breast Karaage (Deep Fried Chicken)
- 1 kg Chicken breast meat
- 1/2 Grated onion
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 Ginger (to taste)
- 1 Garlic (to taste)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 Blend of white flour and katakuriko (1:1 ratio)
- Cut the chicken breasts into large bite-sized pieces.
- Combine the meat and ingredients, then sprinkle in the katakuriko.
- Let rest for 2 hours.
- Right before deep-frying, coat each piece of chicken with flour and katakuriko combined in a 1:1 ratio.
