Savory Chicken Soup

  1. In a stock pot, combine broth, seasonings, vegetables, chicken and rice.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until vegetables and rice are tender.
  3. Add a little cold water to cornstarch and stir into soup to thicken.
  4. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Taste for seasoning and add a dash of cayenne pepper, if desired.
