Brownie Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

- 3 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1/3 c. Minced pecans
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 x Egg yolk, beaten
- 2/3 c. Minced pecans
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour 9x9x2 inch pan.
- Heat butter in 2-qt saucepan; remove from heat.
- Fold in cocoa, sugar and Large eggs.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except topping.
- Spread in pan.
- Bake 23 min.
- Meanwhile, prepare topping: Heat butter in 1-qt saucepan; remove from heat.
- Fold in sugar, Large eggs and egg yolk.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Immediately pour topping over brownies; spread proportionately.
- Bake about 18 min longer or possibly till hard; cold.
- Cut into 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch bars.
