Baked Chickpeas

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas in colander and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the chickpeas onto a foil lined, rimmed baking sheet.
  4. Blot chickpeas dry with paper towels.
  5. Make sure the chickpeas are dried well.
  6. Spray chickpeas with a thin coating of olive oil spray.
  7. Use your hands to roll chickpeas in oil to make sure all surfaces are covered.
  8. Sprinkle seasonings onto chickpeas.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes until browned and crunchy.
  10. Be careful, as the chickpeas can sometimes pop like popcorn.
