Garlic-Tarragon Green Beans

  1. Bring 2 qts.
  2. water and 2 tbls.
  3. salt to a boil in a Dutch oven; add beans.
  4. Cook 6 minutes or until crisp-tender;drain.
  5. Plunge into ice water to stop cooking process; drain.
  6. Saute garlic and tarragon in hot oil in Dutch oven over med.
  7. heat 2 to 3 minutes or until garlic is tender.
  8. Do not brown garlic.
  9. add beans, 1/2 teaspoons salt, and pepper, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
