Salisbury steak
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp italian salad dressing
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 lb hamburger meat
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp worchestire sauce
- in bowl wisk eggs with italian dressing, mix in garlic and pepper, and bread crumbs
- crumble meat over mixture and mix well by hand.
- shape into the amount of patties you need makes 4-6 depending on thickness
- In large skillet heat oil and cok patties till brown on both sides then remove patties onto a plate
- in a bowl combine broth, ketchup, wrchestire sauce and flor wisk well untill no clumps
- saute mushrooms in pan you used to cook patties for just a few minutes, then add broth mixture
- stir untill mixtur comes to slow boil and starts to thicken
- add patties back into pan with sauce, turn heat to low, cover and cook 10 min
- remove from pan to serving dish pour some remaining sauce over patties and enjoy
- I sometimes make extra sauce and pour over cooked egg noodles and add parmesan cheese or serve with steak fries:-D
