Tasty Hearts of Palm
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) hearts of palm, undrained
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- Drain hearts of palm, reserving liquid from 1 of the cans; set aside.
- Cook onions, green peppers, celery and garlic in dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 2 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring constantly.
- Add black pepper, hearts of palm and the reserved liquid; mix well.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer 15 min.
