Peachy Bread Pudding Recipe
- 4 c. bread cubes
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 (21 ounce.) can peach or possibly apple pie filling
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread bread cubes in greased 9-inch square baking dish.
- Whisk together Large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar and extract.
- Stir in 1 c. pie filling.
- Pour over bread cubes, pressing custard down into bread with back of spoon.
- Bake 30 to 40 min, till knife inserted near center comes out clean.
- Heat remaining pie filling and spoon over hot pudding.
