Meatloaf Florentine Recipe
- 2 pound grnd beef
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 med. green pepper, diced
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 6-8 slices bavarian ham
- 6-8 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 1 pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed
- 1 jar prepared spaghetti sauce
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together grnd beef, onion, bread crumbs, green pepper, Large eggs, and lowfat milk.
- Roll meat mix out flat on a floured surface approximately 1/2 inch thick.
- Wring excess water form spinach and sprinkle on top of meat.
- Add in layer of cheese.
- Add in layer of ham.
- Roll mix together like a jelly roll.
- Place in glass roasting pan with seam down.
- After one hour add in spaghetti sauce over top of meatloaf.
- Cook another 15 min.
