Pumpkin Cookies
- 2 cups Crisco
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups raisins
- 1 cup black walnut
- 4 cups plain flour
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream together the Crisco, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients except the flour; mix until well blended.
- Add the flour a cup at a time.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto cookie sheets.
- Bake cookies 12 to 15 minutes; let cool.
