Tropical Miracle Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Lightly grease and flour a 13" x 9" glass baking pan.
  3. Combine cake mix, eggs, oil and pineapple in a mixing bowl; blend on low speed, then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in nuts, if using them.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared 13 x 9 baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done with a toothpick.
  7. Cool.
  8. For topping, blend all topping ingredients, mixing well; spread evenly over cooled cake.
  9. Refrigerate cake after cake is topped.
